Hypocrites? Me,You or Them?

I've been out of the blogosphere scene for ages. The reason being nothin other than a culture embedded in me through the UMNO ideology which reaped through our education system and hence grew out of me-LAZINESS... Hahaha. Little did i know that sub-consciously i've been hypocritical... Another pro-UMNO characteristic... Blaming others for my incapabilty... Well i personally believe that this type of attitude can't only be stereotyped towards the rightist..
This is because if we believe it or not, it appears to be in every Malaysian. We all want changes in our lives... We want changes in the political scene.. We want a change of governance... We want all this but what pro-active measures do we take to achive this?

What else do we do other than blame the current government for our impoverished lifestyle? We only hope that the opposition do all the work by lambasting the government in parliament and media? We just wait for Raja Petra to publish another government related scandal, and than we meet at mamak shops and make a big fuss about it and we tend to forget bout it and in a couple of days were back again waiting for the next scandal to pop up. Aren't we all hypocrites than? If we only blame one party for the ruins of the country, and that we are sidelined from the growth of our country.... Is it fair to hope on just one party(the opposition and leftist politcal activist) to do everything and we don't? We're so Malaysian.. We want to reap the fresh fruits(a better country) but we don't want to be the ones growing the plants( fighting for our rights).

Many would argue that they fulfill their civic duties by voting in elections. This people should realise that they havent really fulfilled their duties because approximately 5-6 million people did not do vote. That is a huge quantity.. Since the current government actually only had 51% of the voters on their side. Imagine that this 5-6 million people had come out to vote? I'm sure the opposition would have garnered a handsome majority in parliament. Hence we as citizens of this country not only have a civic obligation to vote but to get the balance 5-6 million people to vote. This is the least we can do in our hope for a better country.

Besides that currently, people should practice civil disobedience... That is the best way to get the attention of the mass media( UMNO-led), stir fear in the leadership of the country, the executive will than have a drastic change in their leadership style. They will change their characters, because an unhappy population is an unproductive population, an unproductive population is bad for the economy and a bad economy is bad for this people who get a percentage from all the business activities in this country(legal and illegal). Imagine how would they suffer if they don't get their monthly 'allowance' from GLC's, underworld syndicates and so on?

It only makes sense that we are the benefactors from this cycle.... We should immediately stop doing all government related activities and even spending on their products. God willing it will make a difference when we stop blaming others for their incompetence but we start blaming ourselves for our impotence...
